This product is used to TAME the accreditation management process for public safety agencies. Originally developed to facilitate the Oregon Accreditation Alliance's Recognition Program, it has been adapted to manage the process required by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) for law enforcement. It has also been adapted to support the recognition and certification programs of the states of Georgia and Washington, as well as the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA)..

There are also versions for support of the Oregon Jail Standards (OJS) and Oregon Communications accreditation processes.

The program tracks the accreditation process to include assignment of standards for review and development; monitoring of time sensitive activities and required reports for accreditation maintenance; tracking and monitoring review of agency directives, statutes, administrative rules, and other supporting documents. Alert procedures are built into the program to notify the program manager that an activity needs attention.

Training classes are offered throughout the nation to familiarize TAME users with all aspects of the TAME program and to assist agencies in getting the most out of TAME.
